Especially some of us at verge of being conquered by the spirit of ashaitan (lahanatullahi allahy). The sins we have committed in the past year is not beyond forgiveness no matter how weighty they may seems. News reaching us from across the world specifically Nigeria today is that, the crescent has been sighted which means tomorrow being 6th June 2016 is the 1st of Ramadan. Sultan of sokoto, Alh. Sa'ad announced this evening (Sunday) that the moon has been sighted for people to commence fasting.

                              Translated from the Arabic     by Yasin T. al-Jibouri

· 1       اَللّـهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صِيامي فيهِ صِيامَ الصّائِمينَ، وَقِيامي فيهِ قيامَ الْقائِمينَ، وَنَبِّهْني فيهِ عَنْ نَوْمَةِ الْغافِلينَ، وَهَبْ لى جُرْمي فيهِ يا اِلـهَ الْعالَمينَ، وَاعْفُ عَنّي يا عافِياً عَنْ الْمجْرِمينَ .
1.Lord! Make my fast in it one of those who truly fast, my prayers those of who truly pray, and awaken me from the sleep of the inattentive, grant me forgiveness for my sins in it, O Lord of the Worlds, and do forgive me, O One Who forgives criminals.
